About the Scholarship

The Hilo Founders Scholarship pays tribute to the many Hilo businesses whose lasting contributions have helped shape and strengthen our island community. Established in recognition of their commitment to local growth, service, and economic vitality, this scholarship supports students who are entering or currently enrolled in any accredited post-secondary educational institution. Through this award, KIAA honors the legacy of these founding businesses by investing in the next generation of leaders and professionals who will continue to serve and uplift our community.
